WHAT did you do before joining mcchrystal group?
Before joining McChrystal Group, I worked as a program manager for a National Science Foundation research grant at Northeastern University to ensure that the program was planned and executed successfully. I also worked as a Traffic Engineer for a year completing traffic analysis for private land development projects and as a Highway Engineer for two years completing roadway design for large-scale public sector projects. I also held the position of Research Engagement Coordinator at a research institute where I did business development and project management tasks for multiple projects. While at Northeastern University, I earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Transportation and a minor in Materials Science and Engineering.
Why did you join McChrystal Group?
I joined McChrystal Group because the work that we do here combines my favorite aspects from all of my previous jobs. I worked in a wide range of industries including research, civil engineering, and higher education and my favorite parts of each job were problem solving, communication, organization, and program management. My job at McChrystal Group combines all of my favorite parts of my previous positions into one role.
What sport or hobby do you have outside of work?
Outside of work I enjoy traveling, playing fantasy football, reading, baking, and going to cycle classes. I recently was able to travel to Norway where I saw the northern lights and experienced polar darkness for the first time which was an amazing experience.
