Meet Ashlyn

Ashlyn serves as the marketing associate, where she is responsible for coordinating content and materials for internal and external marketing efforts, such as events, social media, website, podcasts, and newsletters.

What did you do before joining McChrystal Group?

I graduated from Clemson University in May 2020. I held multiple full-time internships as a Graphic Design Intern for a regional advertising agency and Corporate Marketing Intern for a leading southeastern architecture firm.

Why did you join McChrystal Group?

I joined because of the opportunity to gain experience from such a talented team and develop as a leader from the leadership experts.

What has been your proudest moment at McChrystal Group?

My proudest moment at McChrystal Group was partnering with our launch team for releasing Risk: A User’s Guide. It was rewarding to witness the hard work behind the scenes, building a campaign from the ground up, and sitting shoulder-to-shoulder for a successful launch with co-author, Anna Butrico.

What are your favorite books (besides Team of Teams!)?

Lean In For Graduates by Sheryl Sandberg. I reference lessons learned from this book almost daily. The way that Sandberg addresses so many pertinent themes surrounding young professionals—especially women—I recommend it to everyone I know.
