Meet Ryan

Ryan Aminzadeh is Director of AI and Data Engineering at McChrystal Group, where he develops and manages machine learning, natural language processing, and data analytics technologies to enable the organization to best serve its clients.

What did you do before joining McChrystal Group?

Prior to joining McChrystal Group, I worked at the intersection of talent assessment, human capital intelligence, and machine learning/analytics. Most recently, I was co-founder and CTO of HelioScout, a technology company focused on acquisition, enhancement, and analytics for talent and organizational data. Prior to that, I co-founded and served as CTO of Sunstone Analytics, an AI-driven talent assessment company, continuing that work at Corporate Executive Board. Before entering the talent analytics space, I started my career working on AI and analytics applications for counter-terrorism, first at MIT Lincoln Laboratory and then at US DOD.

Why did you join McChrystal Group?

I joined McChrystal Group because I saw an opportunity to join a team of talented individuals and exceptional leaders, and to contribute to the growth of the team’s capabilities and success through the development and application of cutting-edge technologies.

What sport or hobby do you have outside of work?

When I'm not working, I enjoy running, playing in social sports leagues (volleyball, kickball), trying new restaurants, and cooking.
