Meet Anna

Anna Murphy is an Implementation Senior Associate at McChrystal Group where she helps organizations tap into their people's potential to solve real problems. She is currently supporting strategic leadership development programs and strategy alignment efforts across federal and state public sector organizations.

What did you do before joining McChrystal Group?

Prior to joining McChrystal Group, I served in a Leadership Development Program with Chick-fil-A. In this program, I developed my ability to lead diverse customer-facing teams through high-pressure operations and expanded my knowledge of brand growth at the regional level. Before my time with Chick-fil-A, I had the opportunity to learn about various aspects of the healthcare industry and health disparities through internships with Piedmont Healthcare, Eli Lilly, and the Greater Accra Regional Hospital in Ghana.  

Why did you join McChrystal Group?

I joined McChrystal Group to be part of a high-performing team that operates with intention. McChrystal Group's guiding principles of trust, adaptability, and growth are not just words on paper but truly exemplify how the organization functions. I wanted to be part of a team that focuses on building trust with one another and with our partners, adapts to new environments and ideas, and pushes me to grow every day.

What sport or hobby do you have outside of work?

Outside of work, I love running, trying new restaurants, and experimenting with new recipes at home!
