Meet Charles

Charles Maffey is a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and Controller responsible for all aspects of McChrystal Group's financial planning and analysis efforts, which includes developing strategies, managing budgets, and creating reports for the board of directors' meetings and the organization’s monthly business reviews.

What did you do before joining McChrystal Group?

Before McChrystal Group, I ran a financial consulting business working with clients to improve their financial strategy, risk management, and cross-functional teams. My clients ranged from small businesses to large international financial institutions.

Why did you join McChrystal Group?

I wanted to take my experience in financial strategy and risk management and use it to support a results-driven company grow.

What sport or hobby do you have outside of work?

I used to race cars, ride motorcycles, go rock climbing and skiing, but I do less of that these days. Now I enjoy spending most of my time with my family and traveling.

What is a hidden talent of yours?

I’m good at taking complex ideas or concepts and simplifying them.
